Neil joined the Board in August 2018, became Chair in September 2021 and Executive Chair in February 2022, he now returns to the position of Chair with the appointment of Wayne Crofts as CEO. Neil has been a professional director since 2014 and he currently holds the position of Chair of Felton Grimwade and Bosisto’s (essential oils grower and processor). Neil recently retired as Chair of Huon Aquaculture Group (salmon farmer and processor) and Chair of Youfoodz Holdings (ready-made meals).
Prior to being a professional director, Neil held senior management roles at Goodman Fielder (Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer), Warrnambool Cheese & Butter (Chief Executive Officer), National Foods (Chief Financial Officer and other positions across marketing, strategy, international and foodservice) and Nestle (Marketing Manager). Earlier he worked in finance, marketing, international sales and trading, strategy and business development for Pacific Brands Food Group, East Asiatic Company (Plumrose Australia) and Elders IXL.
Neil completed a Bachelor of Economics at Monash University in 1976, the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD, France in 2004 and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Neil has broad experience across several sectors within the food and beverage and agribusiness industries; primarily in Australia, Europe for six years, and also Asia and New Zealand. His international experience includes being an executive director of businesses based in Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore; and Australian joint ventures with Dutch and Hong Kong companies.
David is a professional company director, lawyer and chartered accountant. Before coming to the Bar in 2016, David worked as a business consultant advising corporations and government entities across a variety of areas including strategic and financial analysis, M&A, risk management, treasury, management reporting and the financial and commercial evaluation of business opportunities.
Prior to that, he worked for over 15 years as a corporate adviser and investment banker principally in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets. During that time, David held the position of Director at a number of Australian stockbroking/corporate finance firms. In that capacity, he advised on acquisitions, divestments, equity and debt capital raising transactions in various sectors including: food and agribusiness, media, transport and telecommunications.
David has a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney, and has completed the Chartered Financial Analyst ® (CFA) Program and has been awarded the CFA Charter. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the professional accounting body CA ANZ. David was previously a Council member of the Sydney University Medical Foundation.
He has been a Director of the Group since December 2004 and is currently Chair of the Audit and Risk Management Committee.
Andrew spent the first four years of his working life as an accountant in shipping company Patrick Agencies before joining Craig Mostyn & Co Pty Ltd in 1986. He has held a position on the Board of CM’s various companies since September 1993.
As well as being a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Andrew has been, and continues to be, on a number of Boards and Committees aligned to his interests in business, the community and sport.
Past positions include the NSW and WA Family Business Australia Committees (2000-2016), where he was Chair of the WA Committee and Director of the National Board (2012-2016). Andrew was also the WA Ambassador for the charity Hands Across the Water and a Director of both the Fremantle Foundation and the Future Force Foundation.
Andrew worked as an Executive Director within Craig Mostyn Group until December 2016. He is now a Non-Executive Director for all of CM’s various companies, as well as a Non-Executive Director of both Harvestaire and the Mostyn Family Foundation.
David joined the Board of Craig Mostyn in July 2021.
For the past 35 years, David has held executive and senior management positions in areas of; rural property management, beef cattle & sheep raising, meat retailing, food processing and exporting of primary products such as meat, grain and fodder.
His export experiences started in 1989 with the Myer Family Group’s Laradoc Pastoral Company & Teangi Stockfeed through meat and horse feed into Hong Kong. Since that time, David has spent significant amounts of time developing export market opportunities with a strong bias toward Asia.
David has been in a leadership role at the Lee Families, Australian Country Choice group of companies (Australia’s largest privately owned vertically integrated beef supply chain) since 1999 and progressed in that time from General Manager to Group Managing Director until stepping back in December 2020.
Additionally, David represents agricultural industry interests in the following roles: non-government member Australia-Indonesia Red Meat & Cattle Partnership, member SmartSat CRC, member Cattle Council Australia –Policy Council, member AMIC -China Trade Group, Chair Workplace Health & Safety Queensland – Rural Industry Sector Standing Committee and member Laguna Bay Pastoral investment committee.
In 2010, David was awarded Rural Press Pty Ltd “Beef Achiever of the Year” in recognition of his contribution to the industry.
Nicki joined the Board in August 2021.
Nicki has held key leadership positions at numerous Australian consumer goods businesses within the food and beverage sector. She is an accomplished leader and non-executive director with broad experience in strategy, sales, marketing, and innovation within food, beverage and consumer goods businesses, both in Australia and internationally (including Coca Cola Amatil, Cadbury Schweppes, McCain, Nestle and Kraft). Nicki has lived in Denmark, Canada and the United States, where she was Vice President Innovation for Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages based in New York.
Nicki has strong links to Australia’s e-commerce, manufacturing and agricultural sectors. She is currently a Non-executive Director of ASX listed Graincorp and Collins Foods, Deputy Chair of the Australian Made Campaign Limited, and Non-executive Director of Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Fred Hollows Foundation.
Nicki is Chair of the Remuneration & Nomination Committee for Graincorp, and Craig Mostyn Group. Nicki is a Member and Former Chair of the Monash University Advisory Board for the marketing faculty.
Nicki has an Executive MBA from the University of NSW (AGSM), a Bachelor of Business (marketing major) from the University of Technology Sydney and is a Fellow and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Jo was appointed Company Secretary and Commercial Projects Manager of the Craig Mostyn Group in March 2022.
Prior to this, Jo was Group Financial Controller and has played a key role in the Group’s financial reporting, banking relationships and major M&A transactions since joining the Group in February 2014.
Originally from the United Kingdom, Jo moved to Perth, WA in 2011. Jo is a fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and began her career in External Audit with BDO, in both UK and Perth. She has since completed “The Board and Company Secretary” course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
